terms of service

the service

Can't Miss ("cantmiss.io", "we", "us") lets you save places to personal maps, scan YouTube and TikTok videos to extract the places mentioned in them, and share maps with friends through a link so they can add places of their own. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

your account

You sign in with a magic link we email to you - no password. You are responsible for access to your email account and for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.

free tier and paid plans

The free tier includes: adding places to your map manually, forever; up to 10 video scans in total; and 1 map.

Cant Miss Pro is a paid subscription ($44.99 USD per year) that includes unlimited video scans and unlimited maps. The subscription renews yearly until cancelled.

Founding Lifetime is a one-time purchase ($99 USD, limited to the first 1,000 buyers) that includes Pro features for the lifetime of the service.

Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as our merchant of record: Creem is the seller of the subscription or lifetime purchase, collects payment, handles applicable taxes, and its own terms apply to the transaction. We never see or store your card details.

cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Creem customer portal linked in your receipt email, or by emailing support@cantmiss.io. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period - you keep Pro until then, and we don't charge you again. We don't offer prorated refunds for partial periods. Lifetime purchases are one-time and don't renew.

If something went wrong with a charge, email support@cantmiss.io within 14 days of the charge and we'll review a refund with Creem. Where consumer law gives you a right of withdrawal (for example in the EU/UK), we honor it; by starting to use Pro immediately you acknowledge that the statutory withdrawal right may be limited once the service has been fully performed.

your content

You own the maps, places, and notes you create. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and display that content so the service can work - including showing it to people you share a link with.

Friend links are deliberate: anyone with the link can view the map and add places to it, and each place shows the name of the friend who added it. You can regenerate or revoke a link at any time, which retires the old one. Don't post content that is illegal, harmful, or violates someone else's rights - we may remove content that breaks these rules.

video scanning

When you submit a YouTube or TikTok link, we extract the places mentioned in the video and suggest them for your map. Only scan videos you have the right to use this way, and respect the rights of the creators and platforms the videos come from. The underlying videos remain the property of their owners; we don't host or redistribute them.

acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no scraping or bulk extraction of our data, no attempts to break security or other people's accounts, no uploading malicious code, no using the service to spam or harass, and no reselling access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

third-party services

The service runs on third-party providers, including Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Resend (transactional email), Creem (payments), and YouTube/TikTok (the videos you choose to scan). We're not responsible for outages or changes at those providers, and your use of their services is covered by their own terms.

disclaimers

Places on a map are recommendations from you, your friends, or videos you chose to scan - we don't verify them. Opening hours, prices, quality, and whether a place still exists can change; check before you go. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (lost profits, lost data, ruined trips) arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing.

termination

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account and data by emailing support@cantmiss.io. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we'll give reasonable notice on the site or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after the change means you accept the updated terms.

governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions about these terms: support@cantmiss.io.
